Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Italiya Labs operates the MyTeamTask service and is the controller of personal data described in this policy. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hello@myteamtask.com.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, authentication identifiers, avatar, organisation, role, and account settings.
- Workspace data: checklists, assignments, locations, completion notes, activity records, notifications, and recurring-cycle history.
- Photo evidence: images uploaded to assigned tasks and the associated task, uploader access, and timestamps.
- Billing data: plan, subscription status, and Stripe customer identifiers. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe, not stored by MyTeamTask.
- Technical data: IP-derived security identifiers, browser/device information, request logs, and diagnostic events needed to operate and secure the service.
- Optional analytics: usage measurements collected through Google Analytics only after consent.
Why we use data
We process account, workspace, and billing data to perform our contract and provide the service. We use limited technical and security data for our legitimate interests in preventing abuse, maintaining service reliability, and protecting customer workspaces. We use optional analytics only with consent and process data when necessary to comply with law or establish and defend legal claims.
Mobile companion
The MyTeamTask Companion is an invite-only workplace app. It processes account identity and sign-in data, display name, organisation role, assignments, completion notes, notifications, and camera-captured task evidence to provide the service. Evidence photos are stored privately and are available only to authorised people in the relevant organisation. The app does not sell data, show advertising, offer purchases, or provide public account registration.
Who receives data
We use service providers only as needed to operate MyTeamTask, including:
- Supabase for authentication, database, realtime updates, and file storage;
- Vercel for application hosting and delivery;
- Stripe for subscriptions and payment processing;
- Google for analytics after consent and for Google sign-in when enabled and chosen by the user;
- email delivery providers configured for authentication and service messages.
A workspace manager can see data belonging to members of their organisation as described by the product. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Providers may process data outside the country where a user lives. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard supplied by the provider.
Retention and deletion
Account and workspace data is kept while the account or organisation is active. Task evidence and recurring history remain available until an authorised manager deletes the related data or the organisation is deleted, subject to short operational backups and records we must retain for security, billing, or legal obligations. Failed and replaced uploads are removed by the application. Customers should set an internal retention period appropriate for the evidence they upload.
You can delete your MyTeamTask account from the account deletion page or request help at hello@myteamtask.com. Deletion removes your sign-in and personal profile. Organisation-owned tasks, completion history, and task evidence remain available to that organisation until it deletes them, subject to short operational backups and records retained for security, billing, or legal obligations. An organisation owner must first transfer ownership to another manager before deleting their own account.
Security
MyTeamTask uses encrypted transport, Supabase authentication, tenant-aware database policies, private task photo storage, signed file links, role checks, and restricted service credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please report suspected incidents promptly.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing; and complain to your local data protection authority. Organisation members should normally contact their workspace manager first because that organisation controls the operational content it entered into MyTeamTask.
Cookies and local storage
Authentication and interface storage are used to keep the service signed in and remember essential choices. Google Analytics loads only after consent. Use the Cookie settings control at any time to change that choice.
Children
MyTeamTask is a workplace service and is not directed to children.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected by the fixed revision date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the service or by email.
